OUR JOURNEY
The Technology and Governance Support Forum (TAGS Forum) evolved as a spinoff of the CANALPY project – an initiative to rejuvenate the canals of Alleppey by decentralized (non- networked) and nature-based sanitation solutions. By demystifying the process of sanitation planning and leveraging the power of fine grained data for better decision making CANALPY, has supported LSGDs in solving their pressing sanitation issues.
Drawing from the learnings of working as CANALPY, TAGS aims to expand the scope of services by supporting LSGs in envisioning and executing transitions/transformations to sustainability in various sectors.
Our goal is to induce and sustain inclusive governance which ensures equity, transparency and accountability in the provision of socio-environmental services.
We aim to do that by leveraging the experience and expertise of our transdisciplinary team who has the experience of bringing decision-making institutions and the communities on the same platform.
